Body Panels

does anyone know where to get replacement body panels, the ones that cover the radiator on right and oil check on left, in gloss black? every year model has them the color of the body panels and i don't want matte black (like the phantom black body kits)

sadly i only ask because no one here in the Raleigh-Durham area i have asked knows of a decent custom paint shop.....thanks all.

I am afraid custom painting is your only option for glossy black. Every RS model uses body color panels for those covers.

There is a company that sells Carbon Fiber replacement panels. They are somewhat expensive though.

If you just want gloss black, you should be able to get panels painted at any automotive body shop. They paint plastic panels all the time as part of any automotive repair.

thanks, will look into that (and cost per piece).
of course how sad will my little :spyder2: look in the driveway with most body panels removed while they get painted at a shop

but it is probably WAY cheaper than buying any replacement panels.

Each side panel is $142.00

No glossy black available.

You can ride Spyder without these on while they get painted -- no problem.
