• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blue Eyed Spyder

RT A&C.. with the Limited Look

I installed new HID lights. While taking the headlight housing out, I found a vacant plug not being used. So I started digging, seems it's for the blue 5led's on the Limited. I removed the cover plate, found a stem located in the middle with 2 posts on each side. I drilled out the center post w/3/16 bit to run wire. Drilling a 1/32 hole in one of the side post I installed a 4led pod. The opposite post has a dimple which fit right in the hole of the led base, I applied Emblem adhesive to this side. Cost was $5.00 and 2 dabs of Black ATV silicone & Adhesive.. 1 1/2hrs of my time.Couple cigars, several cups coffee, and scratchin my noggin!. Instead of wiring them to the headlight, I chose to place them on the switched lights for accent. Don't want to give any excuse to pull over for running blue lights on the front. Sorry for the quality of pics

That blue shining from behind the light cover looks nice!! I hope my turns out like that!!

Schnauzer is going to be putting some led's on my bike so I'm excited. I went with the stingerz st5 kit but whatever tricks schnauzer is doing with those small LEDs are looking good

I HOPE YOU GUYS KNOW THAT BLUE RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ILLEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES AND IN OREGON WILL GET YOU A $450. FINE.

We use them for parking lights when we're at the local Bike Nights:ohyea:. We have ran them on occassions in the city at night, so far no problems:clap:. They are toggled so quick shut off is possible. To be honest, I'm more worried about the HID lights getting me pulled over. They are extremely bright. To the point that oncoming traffic in the subdivision has almost come to a complete stop till I pass..

Have you double checked the aim after install?

They are allowed to sell underbody neon kits to the public at like pep boys or stereo car shops because they have on the box, on the instructions or the acutal product * for off road use only * or not for street use etc somethign to that effect . Not that I EVER put underbody neons on anyones street car or bike before in my life ;P . Typically if you see just the single neon tube thats for inside the car it doesnt have the protection around the tube like the underbodys do. Most of the time if you have red/blue lights/LEDS on your car or bike as long as you are sitting at like a show/bike night most of the cops wont bother you just dont drive with them on ;P unless said cop is up for being a D**K.

I think we have them now, just not a big fan of the cutt-off line of ilumination. use to being able to see what is hanging from the powerlines,,

Looks good.
Being visible for other vehicles is a good thing.
That's a good looking RT by the way.
I should get one next.

Thanks, it's all about being seen. Sure can't here it... I'm sure it will be like the rest of my bikes, always a work in progress. Right now working on vent covers, etching webs and spyder inn them, Wife wants a Spyder etched in the windshield:yikes:

What can I doodle on next

Spydette wants me to etch the winshield, so before I jump on it with both feet, I decided to try out something smaller and less expensive to replace incase I :cus: it up. So the small wings seemed to be the place to try.. Here is the "WIP" air diverters, radiator vent cover, finally enough nerve to etch the windshield.

Looks like you did a great job with those pieces. Best of luck with the windscreen, I bet it is going to turn out great.

Rt Shield and RS windscreen

Finally just sat down and did it:yikes:, Got my hands on a RS screen also and worked on it.. Looking to find a piece of weatherstripping or trim to insert leds to reflect thru the etching, right now not having any luck. Maybe someone else has an idea on what would contain the light from emmitting out away from the screens.Etchings on windshield 004.jpgSpyder RS Winshield 015.jpg.Now I think she wants me to etch the:spyder2: on her :spyder:. I was thinking more inline of an Eagle's head. But probably wouldn't be to appealing in the web. So I geuss my bagger is gonna get etched next.

Lawbidding compliance

I took all the comments to heart, since we will be heading to spyderfest and durango, I started correcting the locations of the lights. Red & White underglow, with Blue inside the body. REDWhiteBlue on the wheel

Aftermarket RT Hitch

After long consideration:pray:, decided to bite the bullet and go with an aftermarket hitch found on ebay. Material and quality is well worth the price. Instalation was a breeze:thumbup:. Trailer pulls great. Ready to take it out for a day off riding, right after I get the lights wired.:banghead:..
