• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blind Spot Mirrors

 Gee... I guess that I'd take a look at those little round stick-on ones that you can get in just about any auto parts store.
Or would they be too big to use comfortably in the RS mirrors?

Those small round stick-ons work great on the RS-- Autozone/Trakauto/you-name-it will carry them. I picked up two in a checkout line impulse buy at BMW bike dealer, every little bit of "situational awareness" helps.

I could not get mine close to far enough out to allow me to see anything. I got the up and out mirror extensions on Kewmetal. they work great and look great.

I put blind spot mirrors on my 2008 SM5--they worked well. I have yet to put them on the 2010 RTS--just have not got around to it. Available any any auto parts/supply store.

Good info, thanks. I've been looking for a set and found some small ones at cycle gear that I will get.

I tried then on my GS mirrors, back in 08 After a day or two i 86ed them.
They tended to distract me.:dontknow: But for 3 bucks you don't have too much lose! Give them a try.

I had them on my spyder for a year before I started to use them and now I like 'em. I still turn my head to look to see if the coast is clear.

Do you guys think round, square, or crescent would look best aesthetically?

Oops, that's a good point-- I have the ESI mirror extensions, the blind spot mirrors are thus further out than they would be on the stock mirrors.

Before you bother with those stick-on mirrors, I'd definitely get mirror extensions first and foremost.

Are you thinking there are no blind spots with the ESI up and outs? I have them along with the blind spot mirrors.

I have this, it works great 👍

I like it...what is it and where can I get one? That's what I was looking for when I submitted the post....What I like about Spyderlovers...a huge, concentrated community that helps all involved...^

I have the adjustable ones on my spyder and my truck. I just picked up another set 30 minutes ago for my father-n-law's truck.
