There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Blind Spot Mirrors

Are you thinking there are no blind spots with the ESI up and outs? I have them along with the blind spot mirrors.

Of course there are still blind spots even with that setup. It's just that with the extensions you now only enjoy blind spots where the mirrors can't see, not the blind spots caused by the big honkin' view of your elbows you get with the stock mirrors. :p

I'm looking to purchase this mirror as well, but not sure it would mount with my Corbin fairing/shield.

Pic attached - any ideas?

On the website,it lists a handle bar mount and also a mount that clamps to the top of the windshield..It is more expensive on the website than on Ebay..I would go on ebay and ask the seller a question on how much extra these things are,if you think they may work..If not,I bet you would be able to sell it on the WTB forum..

:agree:
:agree: PLEASE do not rely on mirrors alone! You've still got to twist your head around and actually SEE if things are clear...

Yeah Bob... and McDonald's hot coffee is hot. :joke:

The world of legal disclaimers aside... no mirror is a replacement for the head-turn.

That said, I'd rather ride a bike with a good pair (or more) of mirrors than one without for those times when your head is NOT on a swivel.

I have this, it works great 

Did you order a different mount? I know you had a concern.

I may have a problem when I receive my order I have a Chad windshield and the brackets may be in the way.
:dontknow:

I emailed the designer a pic of my bike with the windscreen and he sent me back a pic with it mocked up. It should work fine. I had thought to mount it low, but it looks like it work better on the higher portion.

cyclerlover63 and larrymz3

I received my riderscan yesterday and it installed today. I didn't use the arms provided with the 3M tape. I have a Chad windscreen and used 2 small ram arms.

Did you get yours yet?

Nope

Nope, haven't received mine yet...but, I am expecting to use the mount which comes with it. Why didn't you use that one?

My Chad has a number of scratches and I was thinking about may be replacing it; so, I didn't want to go through the bother of removing the brackets later on and possibly breaking them. I already had the RAM ball mounts on the Chad bracket and had two more RAM balls from a GO-PRO camera mount, and two short RAM arms.

I haven't received mine yet either, although the post office left me a note that I have to sign for a package...That could have been it..Are you saying once you put it on,it isn't something you can remove easily, maybe for detailing purposes?..Oh,does it look like you will be able to see more?

You can remove the riderscan easily, except for the arms.

Because of the riderscan arc you can see more to the side (out and forward), but, nothing behind you being blocked by your body; behind you is picked up by your stock mirrors. Then again, to be safe you should still look over your shoulder before changing lanes.

Wouldn't work on my Spyder...I can't get my door panels off...;)

I received my Riderscan and can't believe how much more it allows you to see..I'm very pleased with it and know I still have to take a peek over my shoulder before switching lanes..This takes away the "where did that car come from?" moment when you get passed by a speeding car..
