riderscan off
Now that I've had a chance to use it, sorry to say I'm taking it off.
I have a 2008 GS with ESI 4" risers and the up and out mirror extensions. I've noticed with a vehicle in the next lane and even with my rear wheel I don't pick it up in the riderscan. The view is hindered by my shoulders/arms and handle bars. It isn't until the vehicle is just about even with me that I see it in the riderscan.
The best set up is what I had/have; ESI up and outs/risers and the small round blind spot mirrors attached to the stock mirrors.
This is JMO. The others who have it may very well like it.
I do have the riderscan set up the way it states in the instructions. Maybe on a 2 wheeler the position/size of the rider and handle bars won't create an issue.:dontknow: I'm 5' 10" and 173#; a light weight compared to most here. So, I don't think my size is an issue.
