• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BIG RED 1 IS HOME.

Later this afternoon, it started to clear up and my buddy called and said "lets go get Big Red 1". We did and I took the long way home of 100 miles. All went well. I will need to practice on the screen, etc. BR1 is more nimble than Punkin'. I had to pay attention to handle bar input, moreso than on the Wing.

As suggested, I put 18 in the front tires and played with the rear shock....I could tell the difference when adjusting it from soft to firm.

I have pics, but for whatever reason, I could not download them. I will get after it tomorrow.

I went through the gate and on down to the backyard...pulled up next to the patio and the wife came out. She took pics and said that is a pretty machine....coming from her, that is a biggie. More later as I ride more...

Gotta load maps in the Garmin 660 and get the XM radio going in the morning.

:congrats: and welcome, new :spyder2: lover! Glad the day finally arrived.

Just remember to keep a light grip on the handlebars and it won't seem quite so "sensitive" to input.

Even Mother Nature cut you a break so that you could get home... :2thumbs: I think that the ":spyder:Gods" have smiled upon you! ...and so it begins...

Here are photos of BR1 in my back yard. I will now try to figure out how to operate the different accessorites. Thanks to all for getting me through these recent trying times. Ordered BR1 Jan. 24, brought him home Mar. 29. It was worth the wait. Thanks Spyders.
