• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There is no such procedure. The specified method is to measure with the dealer's expensive sonic gauge. Most owners use a Krikit II gauge, available from NAPA or a Gates gauge, which is similar. You can't use the same measurements as the sonic gauge. Best method is to have the dealer do it, then measure with the Krikit to get your baseline target.
 
I let the dealer do mine first time, then took my reg. belt gauge and took a reading before he let it off the lift for reference. 10 lbs at 1" of deflection. It keeps me in the ball park.

I won't say what my readings were, since I feel you should get a baseline against a properly adjusted belt that was recently done with a sonic meter. There seems to be a bit of variation in the Krikit readings. Although the BRP procedure calls for jacking up the Spyder, I take my readings on the ground, unloaded. It doesn't matter, as long as you obtain the baseline and do it that same way every time. Don't forget to get the average of readings in three different places, after rotating the tire.
