Hey, Ron, I'd love to meet you in Cuba this year. As a matter of fact, a few of us got together at the Dam Site Inn in Hell, MI today and your name came up! Really! I won't tell you how or why - you'll have to come to Spyderfest to find out.

I really appreciate all of this fanfare and I do enjoy seeing all the old friends and making a bunch of new ones. But really, you're all going to be having so much fun that you won't even notice! Really! You might miss my pancake making expertise (If Len can keep the hot plates going with those tiny generators), but other than that....

Even those of us that have purchased spark plugs and wires, oil and other things we have needed don't know what you look like. Have not ever been able to put a face to the name. Would like to meet you in person. So as I would say in my own business "there's life after laboratory"!
You need a break from working Ron, come to Spyderfest and put a face to that avitar for us newbies.

I'm afraid the real thing is somewhat dissappointing....

Without a doubt! It's worth the trip just to see Len running around with his hair on fire. After 2 or 3 days without sleep he gets pretty sketchy. Does anyone know how he pulls this thing off every year?

Honestly, it has nothing to do with not wanting to come. It's the best even of the year. Why would I want to miss it? Truth is I don't want to miss it. I'm just not sure if I can do it off this year.

we really hope you make it. I was looking forward to some personal help with helmet fitting. I hope to have an Arai in my future and haven't found a good dealer for fitting here in Indy. I know you carry them, right?

Love to help all I can, especially with a helmet. I do carry Arai and a few other brands. But I don't carry them around with me.

I won't say I'm surprised but I will say I'm disappointed. I was talking with BajaRon today and told him he had 18 days to get his Spyder in shape for Spyderfest, that's when I saw the look I've seen many times before :shocked:. He is not fully committed to going and I would take bets that at the last minute he's going to bail on me/us. You see he is a very busy guy and has so many irons in the fire that the fire is fixin to go out. nojoke If you can't take time out of work to spend a little quality time with your friends and in his case customers then what's the point of it all? I think he just needs to feel a little love from you all to make him commit to going no matter what he has to put off for a few days. The guys been retired for years but has less time now than when he had a real job.

So if you would like to see BajaRon at Spyderfest and it just wouldn't be the same without him then let him know on this post. It's easy for him to blow me off but it will be harder if 500 Spyderlovers are looking forward to him going. :doorag:

That was a tough day. Only 850 miles, but for some reason it was brutal. The next day we did 1130! Piece of Cake! (Or, ice cream sunday as the case may be)

If you dont go to Spyderfest you will have less "Business Expenses" for next years taxes. And lets face it, the Federals love to take yo money, its really just a good call for your business, and your tax return!

Bring some spark plug wires, some amsoil and peddle your wares like an E dealer in the middle of a rave.
