• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Baja Ron Swaybar tip

If you are contemplating buying the BajaRon Swaybar, here is a ltttle install tip.

Follow the instructions that come with the bar. They are well-written, and easy to follow. The most critical part is making sure the bar is centered. This has to be precise because the endlinks can break if they contact the lower suspension a-arm.
After I spent nearly an hour measuring this, and measuring that, it hit me.
Make sure the links are parrallel with the sway bar "flat" end. Then put feeler guages between the link and the pad for the upper link mount. Mine measured to .060". I tapped and jiggled the bar until both sides were a fricton fit with a .060" feeler guage, and I was done! If this sounds confusing, once you are under your :spyder2:, you'll understand. I only wish I had tought of this before spending an hour on my back with a tape measure:banghead:.

And, be sure to look at all the pictures posted by BMWLarry. With his pictures and your tip... centering is coverd very well. The links swivel... so be sure to measure them after they are turned parallel to the metal on the A-arm. I used a long needle nosed pliers to nudge the link into parallel. Look at BMWLarry's pictures... you'll see.

How about a link to BMW Larry's pictures---for this thread?

How about posting the link to BMWLarry's Pictures to go along with this thread?
