• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Awwwww... right back atcha! :2thumbs:

I am 38. What I see from a lot of folks in my age group is peer pressure to ride what has proven to be accepted. HD or Hayabusa or Suzuki is "cool" so they can't buck the system. My RS-S gets the same attention as the other sports bikes, if not more. But the guys can't go against the grain. Now of course some just like other bikes but a lot avoid the spyder because they will stick out. I understand it too. Orange Monster is in my age group and lives near me, but he and his brothers sold there spyders. It just feels good sometimes to be apart of a group. For me the open road and music in my ear is enough.
38 here also

All my friends ride motorcycles, They cant stand the Spyders. They pick at me every time I go with them anywhere. I get all the stereotype jokes thrown at me. I don't care. I like being different than the crowd. And I like the comfort.

And what is strange is I get 5 times more comments on how cool the spyder is from people than they get.

Ride it with pride my friend it's great to go outside the box , my spyder gets a lot of looks and people taking pics while at stops Harley's and crotch rockets are as common as they gets.

It's a blast to actually ride something different and fun

I was surprised by the results of this poll. This is worse demographics than Lincoln. I bought one of those too. No wonder BRP is not that worried about repeat sales.... I have ridden several 2 wheelers over the years. I know how, just never really enjoyed it all that much. Well. Country roads and no traffic rides were great but too few. I can actually enjoy a commute to work on the Spyder (weather permitting). I have ridden my Spyder more miles in the first 2 months of ownership than I have my wife's Harley in the 4 years she has had it. I am either ahead of my time or just an old fart before my time.

The wife and me have a combined age of 123 years. So being that my wife is 60, that makes me about 39. Yeah, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well I have a spelling thread, looks like I need to start a math thread. :roflblack:

.

What's a few years?

My wife would say i don't care how old you are if you were only more mature.
:bdh:I made it to 60, and i still like to snowboard too.

ACTUALLY...

Sometimes I feel like I did when I was 22...other days 85, sometimes 53. If I add them all up my average age is somewhere in the 56.2 range.:sour:
