• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Average age of Spyder owners?

We seem to fit the largest demographic currently. Both in our 60's.
last year when someone did this, the sum of the 50 and 60 group i think was 73%. that's what it running at now, so doesn't look like much has changed. now if brp makes the rs the entry level machine that some of us think is going to happen, and drop the price to around 10 or 12k, watch those younger numbers start to change.

Well, I'm not gonna say my real age. I'll just claim what I always say when asked: 28!

Yeah, that's it. 28.
And you're lookin' great; for twenty-eight!!

I am 38. What I see from a lot of folks in my age group is peer pressure to ride what has proven to be accepted. HD or Hayabusa or Suzuki is "cool" so they can't buck the system. My RS-S gets the same attention as the other sports bikes, if not more. But the guys can't go against the grain. Now of course some just like other bikes but a lot avoid the spyder because they will stick out. I understand it too. Orange Monster is in my age group and lives near me, but he and his brothers sold there spyders. It just feels good sometimes to be apart of a group. For me the open road and music in my ear is enough.
