• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aug 1st Rebates

So, as of August 1st, there is a $2000 rebate on 2016's listed on CanAm's website. Reading the fine print doesn't give any solid info though. It says the amount of the rebate is based on the model chosen. However, it doesn't say what model's get what amount. I tried my local dealer who seemed confused too and hasn't gotten back to me. I called two out of state dealers who also couldn't tell me what's what. Has anyone here spoken to a dealer who has some info on this? 2k additional off an F3T would be helpful but I'm not sure the F3T gets the full 2k.

Yes, I got the same email from BRP. Up to $2000.00 on a 2016 RT, or F3T or L. But this was a little different in you had to fill out a form and a "Local" dealer would get back with you.

Almost two months ago my wife got an email from BRP with a "Rebate" check for $1000.00, made out to her, to be used to buy a 2016 Spyder. It said make your best deal then present the check. That was a great deal! A week before it expired BRP came out with a $700.00 rebate on the 2016 Spyders. During that time we were selling her RT-S.

Because it was six weeks later in the season, my wife paid $2400.00 less for her 2016 F3 Limited than I paid for my 2016 F3 Limited just six weeks earlier. What a deal she got!

So, how does that work? Is the only way to get the rebate to fill out the form? I finally found out that it is a $1500 rebate on the 2016 F3T. I found one that I'm dealing on but it's not local.

I wonder if that's a rebate to you after your best deal or taken off the top from the dealer?

The rebate is paid to the dealer in the form of a credit. It costs the dealer nothing so there is no reason for them not to honor it.

So the online form is a formality to get your contact info and the dealer can give the same rebate if you just walk through the door?

Yes, just take a copy of the email in case they claim to know nothing about it. When you click on the link in the email, the screen that comes up asking all the contact details, at the bottom of that screen are all the particulars for the offer in microfont type.

Yes, I did read the small print details but they left the specific model rebates out. As I said, I did find out that the F3T is $1500 off. I think the previous rebate was $700 that's another $800 towards my cause. It's funny about online form though. I filled it out a couple of days ago but never got a confirmation email about the rebate from CanAm. Will see how it all plays out. Heading to the dealer this weekend...

Picked up the bike today. 4k off MSRP. Maybe could have done a little better but I'm satisfied. Better than the 2k off I was going to get a couple months back. Now to get her home, registered, insured, and out on the road... :2thumbs:

Seems like they can do better than that? That's only $500 off on their part and CanAm is paying the other $1500. There's a lot more room than that on the dealer's end. Plus, the 17's are already on CanAm's website which is in your favor.

I'am Happy
