Yup did the mode button. Can change fader or any other controls just the set button does nothing.Guess it,s back to the dealer.I'm assuming that you've pressed "Mode", and moved to the Audio screen? (This is where you need to start, in order to change your inputs...)
Thank,s for the help but I can,t get the auxiliary screen.I go to mode and can adj fader turn speakers off or on but the set button does nothing.I hate to go to the dealer and they find I,m doing something wrong but I think it,s the controls..If it,s a nice day next week it,ll be a nice ride.Thank,s for the help.I feel your pain. I was having similar problems, but fortunately, CapeSpyder got me sorted out. Here are some steps to follow, and hopefully it works for you...
First, when you navigate to the auxiliary screen does it show a picture of an unmade plug connection? If so, it's the correct window, and it means it's not reading the device (assume that's what your seeing).
Second, make sure you are using the port on the right side of the trunk (not the cigarette lighter one). I had to get an adapter to accept my iPhone (different pin configuration). It's designed for the older apple products.
Third, if that's good, then go to your iPhone setting, and open up your blue tooth setting. make sure you're not connect to something else. I have the nav unit and it will sometimes give me a message that I can't connect to more than one device. When that happens I disconnect the gps blue tooth link. If anything shows "connected" hit the info icon on the far and select disconnect.
i would suggest that you have the power on and put it in the auxiliary mode. When it's finally working the music will start playing. Sometime you just have to play around with the setting.
Hope I didn't confuse you and good luck. Let us know how you make out.
Steve
I'm sure you're doing it right, but let me go over the procedure. You push Eco once and the audio window opens. Then you press the set button 3 times (starts on FM radio) 1st push AM radio, 2d push weather, 3d push auxiliary. (4th push brings you back to FM). If those steps don't get you to the aux window, then maybe before going, call the dealer. Perhaps they can talk you through a process.
Maybe you misread some of the earlier posts. His Set Button does not work.
Thank,s everyone I was pushing the mode button once to many.I was going to the settings and that's not the screen.Hit mode so the radio station is larger and I can see it then set button then have weather station and Aux.You would think after owning this bike over a year I would know how to use the Audio.Works great now.Thank,s
