There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. audio ear buds

I may be trying to do something here that is not possible, but bear with me. I would like to be able to hear directions from GPS or listen to music using ear buds inside helmet with out being wired to GPS or MP3 player In others words by bluetooth. I know there are a number of product that will do this but they are expensive and all of the ear buds I have found stick out from ear and the in helmet speakers require you to modify helmet (cut out foam to fit). I have tried ear buds and in helmet speakers in the pass and they put pressure on my ears and make them hurt. I found a company (earfuze.com) that sells kit for making molded in ear ear buds with speaker molded in but these are not bluetooth and have a standard 3.5mm stereo plug.
Now for my question, does anyone know of a product that I could glue, velcro, or attach in any other way to the outside of helmet that wold receive bluetooth signal form GPS or other bluetooth device and have plugin for the 3.5mm plug to send audio to ear bud speakers. Most of the bluetooth speakers and ear buds I have found also have mic for communicating with passenger or other bike. I don't need or want this, just audio from GPS. Would appreciate any help form you electronic guys or anyone else out there.
Thanks

Dragonfly thanks for reply the Scala Rider G9 you mentioned is close to what I am looking for but is still somewhat pricy at $220. Also it comes with speakers to put in helmet not ear buds and function to communicate with others, which I don't care about. Guess I am being picky. I'll keep looking.
Thanks

billybovine thanks for reply. Looked on Sena web site and couldn't find SMH10-MO1 found regular SMH10 but its not exactly what I am looking for and is a little pricy at $220. Sent a email to Sena asking if they sell what I am looking for.
Thanks

WilMo1775 this looks like exactly what I I am looking for. Couple questions do the speakers plug into the base unit on outside of helmet or are they hard wired? Asking because in helmet speakers hurt my ears, would like to use a molded to fit my ear speaker such as the ones you can get from earfuze.com. And secondly are you using this to communicate with your GPS?

they plug in on the outside of the unit ... intercom is very clear .... was doing 75 on the highway very clear... yes i am using it to communicate with the GPS.

What is so bad about cutting a little foam out so the speakers don't hit your ears? I did this to my helmet. The SMH-10 works well and is worth the money, call Motorcycle Dave he will give you a great price

You might look at this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Premium...892?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b099daf3c

I have an earlier model, but I used it at first with the ear buds, but them bought a cheap set of speakers, my helmet had slots to install them, so no cutting and plugged them into the control unit, it was enough to power the speakers. I clip the mic/control unit to my collar. I haven't made a call with it, but the phone's music works great, I didn't try it with a GPS, but should work fine.
