There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Are you still riding in the Northeast?

I would be, except for the fact that my :spyder2: has been at the dealer since November 13th waiting on valve cover gaskets. :banghead::banghead: Hoping to get a call from them tomorrow.

Still Riding

Great thing about battery tenders. Only takes a second to unplug them. Rode 75 miles over the weekend. Temps pushing 50 degrees. Quite a few bikes out and about..

No... I would have been this past weekend, but I had my gallbladder removed Friday, and I'm still a bit tender from the surgery!! I never thought scheduling surgery for December 4th would impact my riding schedule. :sour:

My fiance changed my rear tire yesterday and was nice enough to take it out for a spin to check it today though... It's running great he tells me. ;)

ANY ride this time of year is sweet!:ohyea::yes:
Last year; I was shut down in Mid-November.
I agree. Some might even say that demonstrates that there are indeed certain benefits to global warming. ;)

After spending the past 3 months in Texas and Mississippi, missing my Spyder in those warm states, I got to take it out of winter storage today. (That consisted of simply unconnecting the Battery Tender and checking the tire pressures with the Fobo app on my cell phone). I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

Cold ride

I was able to get in 104 miles on Fri. and 73 on Sat. between chores. I usually ride until the salt hits the roads and then I'm done.
Picked up my 014 ST limited April 16th. and now have 11,235 miles on the ticker. Just took my rear tire off and for a new one, the rear is toast.
Stay safe out there.
Paul

You got 11k out of the factory rear tire? We had 4400 and it was at the wear bars.

I was bitching and complaining about getting only 10k well it was spent at around 10k. Then today reading what other people got (much less) I was shocked. The ST Limited is less weight than an RT as you know but I was still shocked.
I do very little highway and almost all back roads in NE. so maybe less if much highway riding is done.
I have to bring it to the dealer down the road to get it balanced because it won't go on my buddies machine.

Just got back from a quick to give the Spyder a drink of fuel...
It's only 38 degrees out there!

Looking at the weather forecasts; it appears that this may be the last time my RT sees a filling station until Spring... :gaah:
We've got about a week's worth of rain approaching, and after that... :dontknow:

I've been looking at those temperatures... :D
But there always seems to be the threat of rain, to go right along with them... :gaah:

Just brought gear inside

I just brought my gear inside for the night so that when I head to work in the am it's not freezing cold to start. Supposed to hit 55 tomorrow, so it's a spyder day for me.

Also running recommended pressure the center wore out badly.
I can't believe you got that kinda mileage. Ours is also a 14 ST-L but we must have gotten one of the bad runs of tires and somehow you missed it. I'd love to know what your tire date code was, mine was 5013.

Paul, I got 5,820 miles out of my Kenda rear tire, I am now running General Altimax RT 43 on the rear of my spyder. What kind of rear tire are you running on the rear of your spyder?
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Be safe, and Be Seen out there.

A riding partner of ours now has over 14000 miles on the Kenda, she has an RS. Don't get me wrong, it is junk and needs to be replaced. But she never thought they would still be riding this time of year. Hers is a lot more worn out than the you show in this picture.

Nice looking Kumho! I remember when my Kumho looked like that! It is just about junk now also. It only has 12,400 miles on it, I will probably squeeze another 2 or 3 thousand miles out of it.
