• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you still riding in the Northeast?

Had a great ride today. 5 Spyders and a 2 wheel (HD) everyone had a smile on. At the end of our day. A new Spyder found us. Welcome Greg and Maria

Rode for about three hours today. Temps in the low 60's Almost a t shirt day. Doesn't look like any more in the near future. Keep hoping.:2thumbs:

It was over 60 deg yesterday and we had thought about riding the Spyder to Grandma's for Thanksgiving dinner but the food would just not fit. Ah well!

About 150 miles today. I broke 36,000 miles this month. If we get no snow, I might make 37,000.

Just sayin'...........

Was out for a ride yesterday, not as long as I would have liked. I am going to hold out as long as possible thinking of week between Christmas and New Years as hibernation time.

It's raining today, but the weather is looking pretty good for tomorrow and Monday!!
(I've got to figure out how to get in some "December-Time" too!)

I am also hoping for some December riding. I need about 250 miles and I will hit 20K of trouble free miles.

Two hour ride through Sterling Forest and Harriman State Park. Although this time the road leading to Perkins Tower was open. And patrolled by the NY Park Police. Ask me how I know...lol!

Well, I decided to finally put the RT to rest for the winter. Yesterday I washed and polished both the Spyder and the RT622 trailer. Today I rearranged the garage to store them both in there place. It's lightly snowing outside as I write this message, so I think it was time to park the Spyder. For me, the snowmobiling season is just around the corner. I have that to enjoy in the winter, so I don't ever get bored.

This weekend in the Hudson Valley will be sunny, in the low 50s, some will be riding in for the SpyderQuest meeting tomorrow. I will get out this afternoon to do some Christmas shopping. Could be the last of the riding this year, everyone ride in safe tomorrow. Now I need to go chip away at the cave to make some more room.

Northeast riding

Yes we are , we will be riding tomorrow in the Litchfield hills of CT, anyone else in the area ?

I managed to sneak in about a half-hour ride; before the day's chores caught up to me! :banghead:
It's 46 outside right now...

I'll know more in a few hours, see you're in Danbury we are in Bethel. Let you know later the more the merrier.

OK. Reply here or send me a PM. Do you know the commuter lot at Chuck's Steakhouse at Exit 4 in Danbury ? We could meet there, or we could meet in the parking lot at Caraluzzi's in Bethel. Either way, I need to stop at Mohawk and check them out. There is a nice back road ride, and we can also stop at the deli on rt 7 on the way. That's generally a big bike place, there may be some late season stragglers there.

Nice ride today.
NYS Thruway to route 17, to Seven Lakes Drive, to PIP to Bear Mt Bridge to 9D north. Up to the Newburgh Beacon Bridge, west to Route 32 south, to Route 17 south. Top off with cheap gas in NJ. Back to local route 17 and back thru Harriman to PIP south to home. Left at 1045, home by 230 with a couple stops along the way
