• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

April's weather news

I remember those quick weather changes well. Living in Duluth, when the wind would come off Lake Superior, you would get an instant temperature drop of 10 to 20 degrees. At that time, Superior never got any warmer than 40 degrees. That is one cold lake. We used to say, the air conditioner is on.

When we used to go canoeing in the BWCAW, many of the border lakes were similar. Clouds would roll in, and the cold front would hit us, an instant 10 or more degree drop in temp. We used to have a saying then..."thar be rough waters ahead, matey." Time to make camp now.

40 degrees today. They are threatening a dusting of snow for tomorrow AM. What a difference a day makes.

The N edge of the storm system rolled through here yesterday. All the tornadoes were 100 miles S and then moved E. Our thoughts and prayers to all those who were affected.

We had temps in the 50's and rain today. Tonight cold front coming thru. High wind warning Vermont. They have crews from a power company on stand by in case of power outages.

I am" hunkered down" with-in the Stay home Stay Safe order.

Tomorrow the temps in 40's and sunny.
Wednesday the rain, 40's and cloudy.

Thursday sunny 40's.

Friday cloudy, 40's.
Saturday Sunny 50's

Deanna

Temps in the 30's today and 2o mph wind. We got around 5 inches of snow on Sunday. Might get into the 40 later this week. Temps well below average right now.

This is now sounding like winter forecasts. We got the dusting predicted, lawn, trees and car had white when Linda got up. By 10:00 all is gone and currently 40 degrees. Dodged another bullet. :roflblack:

Went for a ride last week just to make sure it was still there.

Weekend Weather

:coffee: Today, Friday all day Rain high 46°,
Saturday high 52° cloudy,
Sunday high 56° sunny.
Enjoy your weekend and be Safe. ......

Been rain, rain.......... 3 days of all day, all night storms. Got 2 days of good riding weather. Tomorrow goes back to 80% or better rain for several more days. I could ride in the rain. Have done it plenty of times when I was riding to work every day. It ain't as much fun as riding in the sunshine and I don't have to do it. Wouldn't mind riding in the rain so much except for having to ride down a mile of mud to get back home.

Monday Sunshine

:coffee: All Day Sunshine Today. Blue Sky and high of 63'. Two more weeks of stay-at-home. :banghead:
Enjoy your time and Always Be Safe. ......
