There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I tried CPC200-CP2A CarLinKit 4.0 with 2024 Spyder RTL and Packtalk Bold. Unfortunately I'll be sending it back. Out of the box the bike kicked back with unsupported device error. I worked with the CarLinKit support team to upload some logs, and then download a Beta Firmware and finally a setting change. This got me to having the dongle link up to the Spyder, but the screen was a mess. Think a VHS tape playing static with the tracking also incorrect. So close, but not there. I tried it on my car, and it worked beautifully and was responsive and smooth. But my car natively supports my phone, so no point using it there. Maybe they might get it working in the future.
