• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else like Planning routes? I use REVER...

I was a die-hard user of the MyRoute App for planning rides on my laptop, then loading them onto my Garmin. BUT, I've been using REVER lately and I have changed my game up a bit. I prefer REVER over MyRoute. Anyone else like to plan rides in advance? I like to do it when I'm gonna be leading a group around the country side. It does have a few glitches, but don't they all.....?

Plan?:dontknow::dontknow:351EA0BF-9E13-4F4E-8CC9-4944DF541902.jpeg:roflblack: Don’t plans just take the fun out of ENJOY the ride:riding: nothing wrong with spin the compass/ flip the coin & “this looks new” direction few highlights for general direction & distance maybe. Leave rest of it open for fun. Have fumbled around with Garmin's custom route planning on the 660 while in hotel room, had good list of addresses for poker run to program  Were fairly well scattered destinations. 660 was able to sort them out (with some edits) for my choice of fastest or shorter route. Keeping them all findable on the screen rather than digging papers back out. Handy:clap: sorry unfamiliar with the My route app or Rever & the new dash system (don’t mind staying that way either nojoke)

Oh I hear ya. I don't plan very often, but if we have a bigger day in mind wandering off to who knows where.....I like to have an idea of where the next pit stop might be...LOL....I'm all for hopping on and just going... The nice thing about REVER is it's an easy app to useon a phone or on a laptop, and regardless ofwhich you use to plan, you can use the other to review, change, or just ride by....

I plan most of my rides. I am usually with 1-4 riders that want to ride as many crazy roads on the route as possible.

REVER now has a twisty option. Put in a start and end point, hit the twisty option and you can ride the right kind of roads. It incorporates all the Butler Maps as well.

Download the route to my Zumo XT and game on!!
