• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else got a Buzzing windshield? Any fixes?

Hello,

I got a new to me (for my wife) 19 RTL. I was the one that rode it home. On the way home I noticed a buzzing that was starting to drive me crazy.

When I got home I found the right windshield cover (black plastic was good and tight at the screw but the bottom was flopping around and had 2+mm of play side to side and easily moved with my fingers.

I took off the cover and if look just fine, hooks not bent or broken. I was thinking about placing an small cude of latex foam rubber under the hook to put pressure under it to keep it seated and leave a couple mm on the side to prevent lateral movement of the hook.

Anyone else had this happen?

Nope everything appears to the there.

I added some 13mx17mm foam rubber blocks that was flush with the hole, then I added one of the same under the very bottom hollow section below the hook. With these two small foam rubber spacers that seems to have made it nice and solid. I'll test ride it and see how it goes.
