• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any tips on connecting OEM & tender leads to NLP20 NOCO Battery Posts?

So, I've just purchased the NOCO NLP20 battery, charger, and connection wires (pictured in the attached.)
This follows the many positive comments on this board.

I have no idea how to use the battery 'posts'. Note that the wire connectors are too large to be attached
to the battery with the screws shown.

I know there are quite a few folks who have purchased and now use this battery. So, how is this battery
properly connected.

Thanks for your help!

Honestly Neal, probably best to call Lamonster Garage and have them explain it to you since you got it there.

I used the factory bolts to attach the Spyder cables and the bolts that come with the battery to attach my battery tender and another set of leads to the other side (90 degrees to the Spyder cables). Those bolts are not shown in your picture.

How is that Noco LP20 working out for you? Any downsides?

I ran another set of heavy cables to a point that can be accessed without taking off any body panels or opening any hatches. The cables terminate on posts just above the left front A-arm connection, where they can be used to hook up a battery float charger and the cables are heavy enough to allow for jump starts without going into the frunk. The hot + wire has a terminal and is bolted directly to the + battery post. The ground - cable is bolted to a reliable grounding point on the front part of the frame.

I just installed that Noco LP20 battery in my 2024 S2S. Installation is the same as a regular battery, attach power first and ground last. Brass washers should solve your wires being too large, you can then use the screws that came with the battery. I ordered a Battery Tracker for lithium and Lead batteries, it won't arrive for a few more days. Here is the link:

Maybe I’m missing something, but all of the cables which were attached to the OEM battery of my 22 F3 Ltd very easily and quickly went onto the terminal screws that came with the NOCO Lithium battery out of the box. And, yes, that included the “battery tender” ringed leads.
