• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any thoughts about Slime in the tires?

Ya NO if u have a prob with it just get it fixed cause i worked n a tire shop an u have no idea how nasty that stuff is. an its great for a riding mower or thangs like that. an it can throw it out of balance.an maybe in an emergency. Just my thoughts.

No slime..!!

Was developed to fix flats. Later to run in atv's lawn equipment then ventured further. It should be used for that. High speeds and temps need better..!!:agree: stop thinking....:roflblack:

Anyone remember using canned milk in their bicycle tubes. Can't say it worked, but it made some really cool bubbles when ya pulled that goat head out......:roflblack:

Putting slime in anything traveling faster than a riding mower is a big mistake. Ride-On works great. That's the way to go.

Thank Goodness for this information !! I have been carrying a can of Slime on the :spyder2:, and now I will set it on the shelf for my tractor, etc. Ride on will replace it. Thanks again...

I'm not even sure about Ride On any more. I once got some crazy wicked vibrations, mechanic took the tire off the rim and found the Ride On had formed into a big ball. The product has a convincing video. Maybe I was the exception. At least carry a puncture repair kit.

:agree: Use Ride On

I see the mention of amounts per tire. I am not familiar with this product but am considering it for spyderfest ride. Enlighten me on how the product is used and how you install it with precise amounts.
Thanks

About to head out so I will make this quick.

Drain air out of tire (Keep tire up with a jack)

Remove valve core with tool provided

Connect provided tube to stem and fill the tire with the amounts mentioned

Blower out stem and install valve core

Refill tire

Ride for > 15 minutes to spread the Ride-On evenly

Enjoy the ride!

Also, if you put container in bucket of warm/hot water prior to install it flows into tire much easier.
Ride ON is having a special and damaged label product currently.
