There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Any thoughts about Slime in the tires?

Thanks so much for this website!

You all have saved us grief. I share this info with my noncomputer husband. We have learned so much and one of you even gave us his tele and we called him. THANKS EVERYONE! We purchased in Oct our two Spyders...Love 'em but still have more to learn.

I carry a bottle of slime with their mini compresor JUST to fix a flat? Is that OK??:dontknow:
I want nothing to do with Ride On in my climate!

The compressor is a good idea, but lose the Slime. Get a good plugging kit instead. I recommend the Stop-N-Go plugger. That's what I carry.

Once again, I am very glad I posted this question! Good response gang! I currently carry a puncture kit both in the car and on the Spyder. Sounds like I am on the right track!
Thanks again!

Ride On

Is the RT rear tire stem easily accessible to add Ride On? Any tips on installing Ride On in addition to what already has been posted?

I use slime [gal pump containers for tubeless tires] For my clubs ATC/ATV's We have at least 25 of them, Work's great on them.
That said, We ride them off road 1300 ac. +++;) ;)
But I did notice in fine print there's a warning on the label' ''Not for speeds over 45mph'', An imbalance might occur.

I saw the kit that you have but I since I don't have a compressor yet I considered the other kit since it was included.

Thanks for the info
Looks like it will do the job...and it will save chasing down a compressor. The Spyder doesn't work too well with CO2. It takes several large cartridges to fill a touring bike tire...the Spyder rear tire would probably take a case of them.

Not a problem... Just take this guy with you!

If you spin balance, it should be done before adding the Ride-On.

i thought ride-on was suppose to balance tires? also was trying to avoid wheel weights.
It will...all by itself, but you said you wanted to spin balance them. You can do that and also use Ride-On, but you should preferably spin balance first if you do. Spin balancing is the process where weights are attached. Use it, or skip it...your choice.

I'm really surprised how much discussion this thread generated. It just goes to show: if you have a question ask! That's what I love about SpyderLovers!
