• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any release date for the new "modular" helmet

The new BRP helmet (Been on sale as the Givi in Europe), looks interesting. I have tried every helmet made I think (at least modular), and I can not find one that has enough room for the chin, and that does not press into my forehead. The N43 is close but it does leave a mark in the head, and the chin-bar is too tight.

My Shark Evoline is Ok, but weighs a ton. I am anxious to try yet another helmet, but was told it would be June at the earliest from the one dealer who lists it on his or her website.

I doubt if you'll see it in the States soon. Reading the review on WebBikeWorld, http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/givi/x-01/
I see it has a rather large top vent section. This meets ECE standards, but this was the same issue that delayed the Nolan N43 Air coming to the states.

Nolan had to redesign the top vent to close up all the space -- DOT wouldn't approve with the large vent holes on top. you could fall and hurt yourself on a sharp stick, I guess.

Anyway, the US version of the N43 doesn't push the air that the EU v3ersion does. I would assume that Givi will also have to redesign their top vents to meet DOT standards.

we use a pair since 8000 mls .. very happy and would buy it once again..
if you could test it side by side with other models ..you will find out
not heavy and really the best side-to-side visibility ..never had any other helmet which had such a large visor..
