Any ideas on Engine Warning Light/Limp Mode intermittently showing?

Periodically my wife's Spyder Engine Warning Light and Limp Home mode comes up on her 2010 RT Spyder.
After switching off for a bit it runs absolutely fine on re-start. First time it happened we restarted and then went in to do a 900 mile trip with no issues. Since then its happened about another 4 times. Always restarts after a pause and then runs fine till the next time. The battery may be low and due for replacement. But not sure if this would be a contributing factor.
Anyone got any ideas..??? No codes come up with the engine warning nessages..

:welcome: …. Try this …. remove both battery cables from the battery wait 15 minutes and then re-connect. This will allow the computers to do a complete re-boot and may solve the issue …. If you aren't using STAR washers on the terminals , put a pair on before you re-connect. ….. If you can LOAD test the Battery, do so …. Batteries can go bad one day after you start to use them no matter how old they are. … If you aren't already using a battery MAINTAINER I suggest you start. The Magneto's for the V-twin engines struggle to keep up with the parasitic loss the batteries incur..... This is what I would try first - it's the least expensive thing …. good luck …. Retrieving codes
2010 RS:
1. Turn Ignition key to "ON"
2. Push the "MODE" button to display total hours screen. Start engine and run until check engine light (or other fault indication) is displayed.
3. Press and hold "MODE" button while pushing the "High Beam Flash" button rapidly five times (within 2 seconds).
4. The active faults will be displayed or "No Active Fault Code" will be shown.
5. If you do not get a message, you didn't get the flash beams sequence done during the allotted time. Try again.
6. Jot the code-number down and check the list in the manual to determine your problem. Share this with your mechanic.

Cheers Mike. Got a new battery coming. Will star washer it and do the full reset....
