Check this one out! I was out cruising around and saw this pull into a gas station.
It was designed and built by an auto engineer. He calls it a HyperRocket and I want one! It uses a canopy from an airplane. Yes, it's a two place. He plans on getting a patent and possibly producing plans or maybe even kits! He has over 4,000 miles on it and uses it to commute to and from work everyday. I believe it weighs around 450 pounds and gets incredible mileage on a Yamaha motorcycle engine. It is actually covered in fabric over most of the body, just like a fabric airplane.
