• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey Gang,

Just bought a Black 2012 Spyder RS SE5. I pick it up Monday or Tuesday.

As you'd guess I'm very excited.

Just wanted to say hello!

:welcome: That is great but this will be the longest weekend of your life.

Most of us don't look forward to monday as we head back to work.

:congrats: on the new addiction! This is only the beginning and not a bad place to start.

Congratulations, and if I may add a brilliant color choice! Some advice to enhance your riding: immediately inflate the front tires to 19-20 psi, and set the front shocks to 5 (very simple adjustment). These simple steps greatly enhance the handling of the RS. If you enjoy "spirited" riding, you may want to upgrade the shocks, I have the Fox shocks (standard on the RS-S) and am very impressed, others on the site have raved about the Elkas (though this seems to come more from the RT riders). Anyway enjoy the new bike, don't mean to bombard you, just wanted to pass along a few tips I received that dramatically improved my ride.

Thanks for the advice, Steve. I do appreciate it.

I am to trying keep myself pre-occupied with this board and internet window shopping, but yes, the wait is excruciating. :p

Congratulations and welcome to the Spyder Hood (or should I say WEB). Be prepared to answer lots of questions when you take the
Spyder out of its web for a ride. Some people say it is so ugly:yikes:, but they still ask lots of questions  HAVE FUN:yes::yes:
