• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

of them at a stop sign . jim ross was killed instantly and his wife, linda is still in intensive care.
they were on their rt doing what they loved. lady and family were not hurt and she hasnt been charged yet. happened in oregon illinois. we must be invisible to people. ride like everyone is your enemy. our prayers are with linda and her family.---

they were members of the spyderlovers family and he loved reading the forums and supporting vendors. he will be terribly missed.--

So sorry to hear this, sending many prayers ................... and :agree: X's 10 concerning being aware of the careless drivers out there .... All please stay SAFE ..... Mike

Prayers out to the family. My younger cousin is starting to ride. The first advice I gave him was to ride as if everyone is out to kill him. If a car is at a stop sign, anticipate that they will pull out and not see you.

Sorry to hear that it's very sad. I think BRP is partially at blame for the safety of these vehicles. When I got my new f3 ltd last year, I had three people in cars pull out in front of me. Since changing to LED headlights and fog light I haven't had a single incident of this. It wouldn't cost BRP as much as it did me to do the changes at time of build.

I'm saddened by these tragic accidents and I'm praying for the Ross family. My sympathies to Linda, and to all of their friends and family.

Sad to hear, hope Linda comes thru ok and they throw the book at the killer.

Cagers only see threats to themselves regardless of how many visibility add-ons we have. We are smaller and invisible to inattentive drivers even with bright colors, DRLs and noisy pipes. Best to always assume they will turn in front of you and plan your escape route before you need it.

So sad. Prayers for the family and especially for Linda, may she heel quickly and have no long lasting medical problems.

I had people pull out in front of me in my Ford Excursion (diesel to boot). Size doesn’t seem to make a difference, and it’s plenty loud.

You are right, I've been riding long enough to know to ride defencely. Sorry I irritated some on this forum.
