• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As the Spyder and I pulled into the yard this morning from Dialysis we received a special gift! The Blue Angles were doing their "Glad to be home" flight and mini-show! They gave us a big, noisy, turn over the house but were gone by the time I got into the house to grab a camera.

 I used to like to watch the Blue Angels when they performed at air shows in my town. Its been years since they've had the air shows here.

They just got back from>>>>

Since I am only about five miles from the strip we get to see most anything they do over a few hundred feet.

Yeah. They do all their training in El Centro, California during the winter. I was there one year for a month just before they left for the "airshow" season. They do a spectacular show. I have seen them quite a few times.

It's always a treat to watch the Angels or the Birds. We had the Blue Angels here in 2007 when the Thunderbirds were in Europe. Most other years we have the Thunderbirds. Different programs, different planes, each a delight to watch. Make for a special day, doesn't it?

I live a stones throw near Mayport Naval Air Station where the Angels practice before the shows. I get my backyard personal show every year. It's great and no traffic to contend with.
