There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a local guy get in a bind and HAD to sell his 2010 RS SE5 - had 8300 miles on it, and he sold it for $4400, because that's the best anyone offered for it....

I've listed vehicles on Craigslist and almost immediately have a company respond saying they have buyers for it.
Probably the same people.
I have a cheap bike for sale on Craigslist right now for only $750 and these people say they have a buyer for me....but I would have to pay them $200 for the deal????

Yeppers, I was a day late for that one too... They are still fairly rare out here. My dealer has had 3 low milage, clean, 2008/9 RSs on his lot for well over a year @ $8995.

i looked at several that were way under priced when i was trying to buy mine. All of them were the same scam. I am in such and such country and cant register it so i need to sell it, i will pay shipping and you have 7 days to inspect the bike etc. Some are im military and stationed overseas so will ship it to you etc. all scams.

But a friend of mine is looking for a Spyder it will be her first. and she found two. in FL an 08 and an 09 both looked brand new and the 08 was 4000.00 and the 09 was 3500.00 so she gave them her info... now every day they send her and email saying they found one in another state and they will ship it to her for cheaper then the shipping should cost.... "like" This bike is for 4000.00 shipping included from Washington State to Florida...... Yaa Right!!! I Smell SCAM!!!!

i did a bit of research on it when i was trying to buy and what i found out was that basically they get you all hyped up on the bike then say there was some issue shipping it and you need to provide a deposit and then they disappear. I also had the reverse scam when trying to sell my cruiser. They want to buy it sight unseen and some even tried to offer more than i was asking and they want to pay via paypal and have some company come pick up the bike. To which i responded no problem, have your shipping company bring cash or a cashiers check and its all yours and they all disappeared after that.
