There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks, I have already done that. Last year, we had to sign in to get our goodie packet. It was in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. I am just wondering where we will do this this year. I would think that it would be at Lake Villa, but just wanting to know if anyone has any information since we will not be at the Chicago hotel.

I will stay also near lake villa but I think to o down town on fryday evening just do know everthing , becorse i don't whant to miss something , i will go by car
Before the event in austria they send some mails about the event but at this moment I didn't recieved anything.
by the way , on the tv today they said there whas a big tornado in illinois , ohio and michigan, i hope it will not be there in 2 wheeks

I live in Lake Villa and come near your area quite a bit heading to Madison. Easiest route is probably to head North and take 43 East towards Milwaukee. Head south on Highway 12 towards Lake Geneva. You will travel on 12 for a while, crossing into Illinois. When you get to 173 (town of Richmond) head east (left). Take 173 to Highway 83 (Milwaukee Rd) in the town of Antioch. Head south (right). This will take you right into downtown Lake Villa. Lehmann mansion will be on the left before you get to Grand Ave. (132). You can also head through Rockford and take 90 or 20 or 173 directly. If you need directions from another route let me know.
Nielsen's Motorsports, a BRP/Spyder dealer, is just south of 132 on 83 as well, just a few blocks from the mansion in case anyone needs to find a dealer.
Anyway, If anyone needs directions, where to go for what, trains etc. or additional rides/entertainment choices let me know.

It seems like many of you are staying an hour away in Lake Villa. Who is planning on staying in Chicago and seeing the city and lakefronts on your Spyders Friday night? Also there is alot of road construction coming from the north into Chicago. So try to go around it.

We are staying out there as it's a lot cheaper than the BRP sponsored hotel and we've been in downtown Chicago a number of times so we don't feel the need to ride around down there Friday evening.

I'm staying downtown. Looking forward to riding the lake front on Saturday. Not sure what I'm going to do Friday night yet.
