• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Guys,
2009, RS, SE5
Installed Power Commander V and Autotune
Cut off factory O2 sensor since Autotune has its own and therefore didn't see a point to plug in PCV O2 modifier inline with factory O2 , firstly - it just make a sense and secondly - i've seen guys from here done just the same
Autotune connected directly to Battery.
Had bike started and let reach 3 bars temperature twice before i pulled it out from garage, got ready for a ride and:

- bike won't start, not even click, just keep coming back to safety message after each attempt
- these codes are scrolling across the screen: check engine, check DPS, VSS failure, Break failure, ABS failure - :gaah:

So i disconnected battery for half an hour, unplug and back plug all 4 rellays, checked fuses at front and back - all good, checked break fluid - perfect, checked seat sensor connection, reconnected battery - same all.

Lights are all on and working, gear is in N, killer switch is off,
Charged Battery over night - no joy

Anyone up for
help?
btw - air-conditioning and seat belts are fine

First, the OEM sensor still has to remain in place with the additional sensor for autotune installed in a separate, welded-in bung, from what I understand. Second, we are going to need more than the warnings on the screen to pin things down. Display the active faults and get back to us.

1,- right, that is easy fix although won't happen this week, just too busy

2,- i was never able to display active faults ever no matter what i did - 3 x key and mode button and who knows - i always got it wrong but sure you live and learn , i blame teachers in this case :yikes:

To display fault codes on 2008-2012 GS/RS...

Turn key on (or keep key on)
Scroll to display total engine hours
Press and hold MODE button while pushing "Flash High Beams" rapidly 5 times within 2 seconds
Display will scroll active fault codes or read "No Actve Fault Codes"
If codes or message are not displayed, repeat procedure. Usual reason is failure to complete 5 flashes of high beams within 2 seconds.

You can pactice this procedure without any active faults, just to hone your technique.
