adj vents

Do the adjustable vents work on a rt limited , live in Tn. and it is fixen to get hot?:shocked::shocked:

I put them on ours and it seemed to help a lot and after we get the vented windshield from
F4 it should take care of the rest of the issues.

I like mine. I keep them in the mid position most of the time. Seems to be the best air flow for me. The open or "scoop" position doesn't seem to grab the air like I thought, but they are certainly better than the stock. Good luck.

i have looked at them and considered them but for about the same price, you can get the Baker Air Wings and they seem to move so much more air and exactly where you want it.

I have the BRP vents, and I agree that the Baker Air Wings move the air better and exactly where you want it. If I was to do it over again, I'd opt for the Baker's.

Adjustable vents

Note that the tupperware heat release vents are located just under the adjustable vents. What I have experienced is. As the under tupperware heat begins to rise above the outside air temprature. In position 2 or 3 they create a sort of vacum on the tupperware engine heat vents. Which then directs the escaping engine heat onto the rider. So, when they are needed most. They are actually counter productive. In my opinion.

I have the BRP vents and they work very effectively. Can't say if they are any better than the Baker Wings although many people praise them. But as far as looks go, I rather have the BRP vents than the Baker Wings IMHO.

It's just my worthless personal opinion; but I prefer the "clean lines" of the Spyder, without the Baker-Builts hanging off of the sides like shutters...

But there's no doubt that they are very effective! :thumbup:

Agreed with the "as far as looks go" comment. BRP looks way better.

Total agreement with you on the looks of the two. Just need to decide which one puts the air where most needed.

If you want an A/C running on your Spyder while it looks like Dumbo flying with open ears, go Baker Wings.
If you want normal airflow in the summer, and re-adjust in the winter, go BRP vents. As a bonus, get the adjustable deflector for the windshield to add more airflow.
FYI, I know that Pitbull has plenty in stock.

A couple friends who live in Tucson, just installed the Goldwing adjustable vent in their windshields. They say it works great! I agree ,i looked at the bakers and while they may work even better , that look will not appear on our RT Limited:yes:

I bought the adjustable BRP vents but found they didn't work as good as what I had on my previous RSS spyders which was the baker air wings. So I spent the money on the clear baker air wings and am very happy with them and would highly recommend them.

Riding in S cal where its hot all the time what about taking the BRP vents off like free ballin in the wind?
