Added Mirrors to my Handlebars

[No 2817]

I added Muth mirrors to my handlebars. I was not comfortable with the view I was getting with the Convex mirrors on my F3-T se6.

Added benefit is I now always know that my turn signals are on/off, the instrument panel indicators lights have been a joke since my 2008 Premier edition GS No. 2817.

Very pricey, It think they where $189. Plus another $130 for the mounts. ( I already had the mirrors from another ride. )

Muth is a high quality mirror, but I liked the built in arrows, they of course flash and not shown in pictures, they have a row of yellow LED's on the front of each mirror.

Is there an extra cooling system one can have installed since these trikes seem to fun hot? That was impressed upon me when we bought our RT. I hear the fan and just want to enhance and prolong my engines longevity. Thoughts and feedback appreciated.

That was a great little video. I forwarded it to my wife and told her to show it to her friends (I'm gonna practice ducking starting now). Those mirrors are great. One of the faults with the Spyder is the view from the mirrors compared to a 2 wheeler. Thanks, Mike

I love the mirror relocate kit Lamonster makes for the F3_S. Have them on my bike.

He really needs to make them for the F3-T and Limited. Louise cannot see back via the stock mirrors and having 2 sets of mirrors on the bike just looks goofy.

Just an idea but I took the mirror off one side of the F3-T and looked at adding the adjustable side deflectors available for the RT in that location. With a machined block bracket like Lamont did for the F3-S turn signals they would look fine in that location and be very functional.
