• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: A trailer to pull your Spyder: 2018 Aluma 7810 es in Portsmouth, VA

This is a 2018 Aluma 7810 utility trailer. It is all aluminum construction, with an empty weight of about 650 lbs and a 3500 lb torsion axle. It can carry up to about 2900 lbs but I wouldn't load it that much since it does not have trailer brakes installed. It has all LED lighting installed from the factory.

We used it to tow our Can Am Spyder behind a motorhome for several years. I had some custom wheel chocks made out of stainless steel by a local shop that are positioned to keep the tongue weight where it needs to be and keep the bike from moving around while traveling. I added some heavy duty D ring anchors along the side to help secure the bike when driving. I also added an aluminum cargo box for the tie down straps and spare tire that has never touched pavement about 2 years ago.

We never had a problem in the years we used the trailer with our camper. We sold the bike a couple of years ago and this trailer has sat unused so its time to move it along. New these trailers are going for about $3500 before all the sales tax and licensing. I pressure washed it today and used some pontoon log cleaner to restore the shine to the aluminum deck. I'm looking for $2700 cash and its all yours. I have clear title to the trailer here and will sign it over to whoever takes it home. Located in SE Virginia near Norfolk. Thanks for looking.

Housekeeping post that appears in every Ad:

Please make sure that you, as sellers, traders &/or potential buyers, read and follow the directions in the READ FIRST! Sticky (& all the posts in that thread) that's found at the top of this forum section and linked below:

https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/read-first-how-to-use-the-for-sale-by-owner-sub-forum.146354/

paying particular heed to:
  • the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
  • if you add any pics (and you really should, if you want to sell!), the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky, especially if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a - between each image! (Having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your 1st post here appear on the index page - which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting an extra pic or two in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks/months will also satisfy the first point above ;));
  • do not display personal contact details, unique identifiers, or discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
  • the need to properly finalise the Ad by changing the prefix to mark it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything, don't want to sell any more, or just don't need the Ad any longer! ;)
Good Luck with your sale. (y)
