• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello, great people! I hope you all are well. I have to make one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to with these 2 options....

So on the one hand there is a 2021 F3-s special series under B.E.S.T warranty with performance Farkles like a power commander exhaust and shocks.
On the other hand is a 2019 F3 base model with a aftermarket warranty from Bert’s Mega Mall.

They are both are locally available with under 5,000 miles, but with a $6,500.00 price difference. I’m torn on which way I should go, so I’m coming to the most informed group on the interweb to see what they think. I know I could and wanted to go new, but with the shortage of parts, low inventory of bikes, and delay times, I just don’t want to wait any longer…

Go with what you can afford.

Because you really don't want to end up like this guy:

Thank you both And knowing how non mechanical I am the scary part for me is that the lower entry point may lead to higher cost in the long run.

If there is an upside, other than the model-based differences, the platforms are nearly identical in most respects.

Personally I'd go with the "unfarkled" unit unless the other is modified in exactly the ways you would choose anyway.

JMHO,
Bob

Go with makes your bank account the happiest in the long run. The good thing about the base model is you can do whatever you want to it...Use that 6500 to farkle and improve it.

Off the top of my head the SS will have better shocks, nicer console screen, more HP, Sport Mode, cruise control. Should have the passenger seat and footpegs. Not sure if the Base F3 comes with that. Most of these things can be had aftermarket as upgrades I guess if you want to go through all that.
