• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Harley V Rod reverse trike kit coming

No abs, stability controls and it doesn't lean. Another concept vehicle that will never make it to market. It would be a liability nightmare. Imho. It needs real r&d to be viable.

That's kinda what I was thinking. The front end looks to narrow with too little articulation to be stable in turns.

The scorpion has a sort of raw look like the Frankenstein trikes, it's a good fit and good look in my view. ABS is ok but not required nor is VSS. Non-lean is good as that concept doesn't work without some high end electronics and liability is certainly an issue with leaning trikes due to the unstable nature and limited lean angles. Leaning trikes are only a novelty and would be a dead sell. If liability for non-leaning non-vss was a problem then all existing trike manufactures would be in trouble. VSS is limited to spyder and the slingshot which smartly has included an off option. No other vehicles on the road including cars have VSS so it does not play into the liability equation. It is proven reverse trikes are more stable than 4 wheel vehicles so I have always questioned the VSS system and it's implementation.

I think the scorpion may do well especially on the V-rod and other HD's. The only thing they will need to do is expand their market line as just doing V-rods will not produce enough demand.

Anyway that is my honest view while thinking outside the triangle (R)

Where has it been proven that reverse trikes are more stable than 4 wheel vehicles?
