There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. A FANTASTIC VERMONT ROAD !!!!!!

BLUEKNIGHT911

Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
I went for some :bbq:yesterday, on Rt 22a near Benson Vt., and yes the Ribs were darn good .... I usually don't go south but it was a great day to ride and I was feeling adventurous  .... I wentsouth on 22a to Poultney where I picked up Rt 140 ( it only goes east ) ...OMG is this a Sweeeeet twisty road. It cross's Rt7 at Wallingford and again at Rt 155 then turns into Rt 103 which isn't twisty ...turn left onto Rt 100 north and go 3.3 mi. north to Tyson slow down and immediately before Echo lake (which you can see ) make a sharp right onto a paved Town hwy, ...Kingdom Rd. turns into Tyson Rd. to RT 106 this road from Rt 100 to 106 is twice as nice as Rt 140 ..... I wish I had known this before they picked the routes for SpyderQuest , Poultney is about 8 miles south of Rt 4 ( goes to Rutland ) .... if you are going to Vt. put this on your Bucket list of Must Do roads you won't be disappointed..... I plan to go back, it's that good ..... enjoy ... Mike  ...... PS from Lake George you could take 149 east to 4 N to 22 E to 22a N into Poultney where Rt 140 starts

I was just in that general area a few days ago. Wish I'd known about this, but I'll definitely keep it in mind when I'm back in the area. (It's only about 1 hour from me....)

Thanks!

Wow...!!

This reads like a mapquest printed instruction....You can never find all the great roads over there. The 9 years I lived in CT I can only imagine I scratched the surface. I generally wander and find roads that I later cannot find again. Sounds like you had a great ryde and have some new routes to follow on subsequent trips. I will put it on my list but you will have to guide the ryde....:roflblack:

:dg1:the Kingdom - Tyson road thing is really one of those Hidden gems only the locals know about, there wasn't much traffic .....except for other motorcycles ...of the Crotch Rocket variety ( which says something ) ........ Mike :thumbup: ............. PS, I have one of those Vermont Street & Road Atlas's from American Map ..... it's priceless at finding those un-known roads

Bob,
The thread was about the sweet road Mike found. Not about the sweet ribs. But we do key in on what's important, don't we?:cheers:

Stop it, you're killin' me.....

We came over from VT last weekend. Spent 2 weeks there. Were in an RV park not far from Montpelier. You just can't go wrong in that state. The roads are unbelievable. But I never found the ribs. We are in New Hampshire now for a couple weeks. Not riding. Bike is down for (I hope) not long. See my other post.
