Nice thought; bubba deserved it. But, do you seriously want to go up against a tire iron (even helmeted), unless you are really trying to save someone. I've seen the results when working with a patient in physical therapy.

Much respect for the rear biker to not attempt to pass and keeping his distance... Diddo on the rider in danger... Glad he kept going till he cooled off and kept a level head... Had that been me... I personally wonder if some blood would have been drawn on that cager... All that gear on me and non on him...

In our State this would be Road Rage as we now have a Zero Tolerance Policy... Carries different levels of Jail time and Mandatory Anger Management courses...

lol... RR requires the use of a vehicle. So no. My thinking was more about how impressed I was with the bikers responses vs. mine in my youth. Made me wonder if I would have the same response today as they did or my past. pps:

With him coming out with the tire iron I would see his intent was to cause harm as he attempted in the vehicle. In no way am I saying I would approach him to encourage his ignorance and lack of clear thinking... I am saying if I felt a true threat and he did advance... All my gear would reduce my personal injury on foot vs. what he would receive :sour:

This riders' life was threatened. That raises my blood and activates my defensive reactions vs. offensive is all.

Personally I think there's very little to be gained by turning a road rage incident into a face-to-face meeting. Nothing to keep that driver from running over a couple of bikes and claiming he had been threatened by the bikers, or worse.

I was watching an episode of "Most Shocking", guilty pleasure :roflblack:, and they had a clip of a driver in England that thought he was wronged. He stopped at the traffic light and jumped out of his car with a tire iron to go after the guy behind him. His entire attitued changed when the off duty police officer drew down on him! :yikes:

Now, just imagine the same thing happening but the guy in the back car wasn't a cop. Is it really worth it to try something like that with the way people are today?

People are crazy out there---- I'd avoid direct confrontation and let the cops do their job. Just ain't worth some nut pulling a gun or a tire iron on you.
