• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ok here is the story of the 2 JERKS, told by the guy who took the video

Sorry... it's clear that the kick is what upset the applecart, and started the chain of events.
Biker is guilty of a whole lot of stupidity here. nojoke

If you read the interview the car exited the HOV lane bumping the motorcycle, and I think is what upset the motorcyclist. Of course the motorcyclist first mistake was kicking the car, the second was leaving.

I'm with Joe. This guy better get a good lawyer, but he will be broke before its over, either way. To think that the guy in the car, which hit the biker twice, is innocent, is unbelievable. It's very clear that when the biker started/tried to kick the driver's door, he pulled into him to pin him against the wall. IMO that's attempted murder. The door kick didn't make him lose control.

Bottom line, not thinking clear for 1 second can change your life forever.

Me too! I was hoping that John had a change of heart...

Are you saying he can come back? I hope.

Back to the topic. Don't be an idiot, and leave the scene of an accident. Based on the video, and the testimony/statement as listed in the OP, and based on the definition of attempted murder, that would be a hard charge to prove. If our resident lawyer chimes in, his opinion would be interesting.

Bob D,

A question for you regarding the topic of the accident? The gentleman in the pick up truck that was hurt, who can he sue for personal injury? Since it was only the motorcyclist that was being charged, does the driver of the car get completely off the hook, so to speak?

You are probably right. But assault with a deadly weapon shouldn't be too hard. A charge which kicking a door with your foot would never qualify for.

I'm not trying to defend the motorcycle rider. What he did was wrong. But it does not appear that justice is being done here. The driver of the car may have left the scene as well if he were able. Stopping on the freeway in heavy traffic on a motorcycle is not a smart thing to do. I don't blame that guy for leaving. But he should at least have notified the police. Without the video they would never have caught up to him and that's probably what he was banking on. But to blame the MC rider for the wreck and injury to the poor man in the truck just doesn't seem to fit the crime of kicking someones door.

Everybody seems to be assuming that the driver of the cage was trying to run over "BigFoot".

What if he heard the "Thump"; and it was just a reaction to try to get away from whatever it was, that caused it? :dontknow:
