 Some cagers belong in cages...

The cager said he drove those back roads every day and knew what he was doing. I guess that's why it was okay for him to be over the double yellow. Just being sarcastic.

The cager was such a bada$$ that he needed a tire iron to get out and talk.

So what happned to that :cus:hole? Hopefully cops searched even the inside of the tires of his truck and maybe even found something.

Good think that it was on tape to show his reckless behavior. Sure the other rider is getting ticketed for going thru double lines but that piece of crap in the truck needs his license revoked.

I see reckless driving and attempted murder maybe a weapons charge speeding is questionable maybe when they passed that church? I wonder what happened?
hmmmm?

Ahhh, the joy of a blue sky day, the soothing scenery of a country ride, and the insanity of driving blitzed out of your hick mind in the middle of the afternoon.

:yikes:
Glad the biker was running a camera and glad they called the cops on him.
NO EXCUSE for what the trucker did. I cannot see him NOT being arrested for this.....

From what I gather, this just happened a few days ago in KY. The bikers and the guy in the truck both left the scene after a while because the cops didn't show. The video has been turned over to the police. But after multiple calls back to the police, they keep telling him that they have yet to reveiw the tape. The biker is threating to go to the news if somthing is not done. He is scared if he does, he will have tickets for his part in crossing the double yellow to pass and speeding.

But IMO the ticket or tickets he would receive would be worth it to get that nut job off the road. That road is famous for sport bike people. It is full of high speed twisties. Did you see the truck almost hitting other bikes coming the other way.

When you're making omelettes, eggs gotta get broke! If he gets a ticket or two in order to get that loonie off the road I'd hope that he figures it as a fair trade...
Besides; he did what he did...

:agree::agree: The truck driver had no excuse to do what he did... he must be exposed and taken to the news.

I drove in to Manhattan 5/6 days a week for 30 years, And even in my car[beetle] i ran across situations like that, Some people don't like being pasted where they think you shouldn't be pasting, So at that point they become a self appointed traffic cop ,And then the chase is on!
What I'm trying to say, it doesn't take much to trigger some people.
And if your out on the road a lot sooner or latter your libel to be in that situation. IF everyone had to take a psychological test to get a drivers license very few would pass, [I even have my doubts about myself]
SO be careful out there thing turn ugly fast, and unexpected.:gaah:

I've lost 2 dear friends in separate situations similar to this (one in Oregon, one in Kansas);
one was a drunk driver and the other a bad case of road rage. (In both cases, my friends were not in the wrong.
One was taking a walk, the other on an afternoon drive.)
Despite dozens of witnesses, in BOTH cases, the bad drivers walked.... didn't even go to jail or get a ticket.

As the investigator of the road rage case told me "the wheels of justice turn slowly in Bubba County"....
Like the dude in the truck said "I grew up on these roads . . . . these are my roads"

Ya just can't fix stupid. :cus:

I would think any sane MC rider would gladly take the ticket for passing on the double yellow in order to get this :cus: in the truck busted.

The tire iron was a concealed weapon that he got out of the truck with (why was it in the front with him?) and threatened the guy with. - should get in big trouble for that too.

He was a danger to everyone on the road - too bad he didn't run into a ditch (and only damage his ride). I hope the biker with the video keeps the pressure on this case!

The bikers should have just head-butted him (with their helmets on) when he got out of his truck, then kicked out his tooth and rode off.
:chill:

I definitely agree that it would be worth the ticket I got for passing on a double yellow in order to get a maniac like that off the road. He almost took out a couple of the bikes that were coming head on as well. :yikes:

:hun: But then the LEOs would have needed a bigger van with which to haul everybody in for a little time-out...
You know that "Bubba" woulda cried for help and showed everybody his split lip if that happened... :gaah: "Evil Motorcyclists attack Local Boy" probably would have been the headlines in the paper the next day...

Personally I think there's very little to be gained by turning a road rage incident into a face-to-face meeting. Nothing to keep that driver from running over a couple of bikes and claiming he had been threatened by the bikers, or worse.
