• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

92 Octane and Surge

Needed gas and pulled into the station.
There was no 87 Octane .
I've always used 87 with no problems at all.
Thought well, I guess I'll just try the 91 and see how she runs.

30mi down the road and I've got a very noticable surge at around 5000 rpm. :gaah:

Now I'm going to have to put up with this untill I get the tank mostly empty and fill it back up with 87 again.:chill:

Fortunately, that'll be this afternoon......heh! It's a great day to ride.

That is pretty strange---Surging usually indicates a lean condition (unless you got a load of water):dontknow:

Mine ran pretty terrible on the first tank of 91 I ran through it, but after 2 or 3 tanks it runs great now.
