90 DEGREE VALVE STEM EXTENSION

I'm looking for a 90 degree valve stem extension for my rear tire. I have seen a number of them on the internet, but some say for Yamaha only or Honda only, etc. Can anyone direct me to an extension that will fit a Spyder wheel? Do I need to look for a certain diameter in millimeters? Do any of our home page vendors sell them?

Dual head chuck...

if you use a dual head chuck like truckers use you don't need two hands (like with extensions) or extensions at all. The other solution (requires removing the tire) is a fixed stem at an angle...just my experience...:thumbup:

I haven't done it yet. It requires drilling a new hole in a desired place on the rim and attaching the new valve where you can easily get to it. I've seen others post about it.

I don't have a problem with the current set-up. It is not the most convenient location but it only takes a couple extra seconds. Aint worth $20 or so to save a couple seconds. Of course, that may just be me.

....................................:agree:..........Yo Snoop, I'm the one who sent O S M to Kurveygirl to get the valve stems ......I don't know why He decided not to put them on ???????........I told him to buy the Metal ones and they are actually 85 degree's.........If you go this route , when you drill the Hole on the opposite side ( by the disc brake ) there is a raised line on the RIM......you must put the new HOLE at least one inch in towards the center of the RIM........this is for clearance for the Tire Mounting machine.......I've done three so take my word for this......................None of mine ever leaked......and I left the OEM valves in place ......Mike :thumbup:

Im new to Spyders
Old hand at biking--
Wasnt to painfull to get my digital psi Guage or air chuck on but--- I wasnt wearing good clothes either[emoji2]

I might also suggest that the problem is not the location of the factory stem but the connector many are trying to use to fill the wheel.

I have no trouble connecting my digital gauge / inflator to the rear wheel using the factory stem. Its actually much easier to fill than the rear tires on our motorhome.

Mike.... the reason I am selling these... is I just don't feel like I want to drill another hole in my rim...

​I'm just sorry if you mis-understood how you were going to use the Angled Valve stem without drilling a new Hole. I thought what I had posted about it made it clear .....Mike :thumbup:

Go to your friendly neighborhood truck tire shop, " I was in the tire business for 20 years"
and tell them what you want brass, chrome, stainless, and such they have a tool to bend
the valve to any angle you like in several lengths. should cost about $3.00 to $5.00 each.
