There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2010 RT Tire Replacement - do I need to use beads to balance it? What size valve stem?

Hi y'all! Been having so much fun on my 2010 it's time to change out my rear tire. I'm replacing with the same one I had before... The Kumho AST KU25 225/50R15 91H. Lol My bike/s mechanic and my husband are two different people. Bike mechanic does what I ask. Enough said. :ROFLMAO:
Questions...
1. Do you guys suggest putting beads in the tire for balancing? Is there recommendations on which to use if so?
Probably TMI: Hubby doesn't like using beads, feels it makes my MP3 500 and RT tires wear in the center. I disagree, and my bikes mechanic does like beads lol. Hubby has a Honda & Harley. I drive the Spyder and usually keep peace by having my own shade tree mechanic for my bike repairs & biking desires rofl.

2. To replace the valve stem is the correct size .453 diameter rim hole? My mechanic has replaced all my tires in past but it's been several yrs since the rear was changed! I love my Spyder.
Meanwhile, I "HardlyRider" ->the MP3 anymore. It's always having issues lol!!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!! 😘

My personal experience is in 100% agreement with BaJaRon. I'm running beads in my Spyder, it rides smooth as silk. Your tire wear problem is more to do with air pressure. If the center is wearing, then you are running too much pressure. I run 18 pounds in all 3 tires.

I've been running beads in my cars and trucks for years and years. In fact, I much prefer them over wheel weights - especially in my dually!
