• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

622RT Question?

For all that have a 622 Trailer I have a question. My trailer is a 2010 and my spyder is a 2014 RT, my dealer wired it up with the 4 prong set up. My question is should the turn signals be yellow lights or in the taillight red ? Also should it have the back- up lights work when in reverse?

Cannot run separate brake and turns with four wires. That takes 5. Add operating the backup lights takes another wire. So 6 total. So your dealer hooked it up the only way he could with 4 wires to work with.

If you get tricky with a couple of relays (for isolation), you can wire it so the reverse and amber turn signals work. You have to change out the bulbs to clear for reverse. The older trailers have all the wiring, you just need to tap the right wires in the Spyder. Though in the back of the trailer you do need to cut one set and tap in for reverse. In one of the trailer wiring threads I think I put all of the colors and how they tie out. I wired our trailer so everything works as it should. I used 2 three prong weather pack connectors for a total of 6 wires to run everything.

The backup lights were never operable, even in 2010. Make sure the dealer put on the grounding harness on the trailer, if not you'll be blowing out your wiring harness. Been there, done that - more than once.
