just got finished. it took 1/2 hour. now on to the battery. thanks miltRemoval of the key barrel is a 15 step process...and is a little tricky. Best to hitch up the trailer and swing by your dealer to have him do it. nojoke

we had a local locksmith do it, took him ten minutes and cost $20.00

Did they remove the old one or just make the existing one work with your key?
Why do you want to move the battery from the front to under the seat?
This is more involved than it seems.Its an old thread, don't think it still applies. I just had the same question for my trailer. I guess I should have just opened a new thread.

Would anyone have the TSB or instructions on replacing the trailer lock? I have a matched lock that came with my RTS but never installed it on the trailer I bought.
