• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

622 trailer lock

Never would i disagree with you on technical items, i don't know how they got the old lock out because my Brother in law did not have the original key either. :dontknow:

It may well be possible, but the normal procedure requires the key to be inserted. I guess success will depend on the tech involved and his experience or ingenuity.

Hey Joe... if your B-I-L can find the bulletin, can you post it? I know my dealer did it for an 1 1/2 hour charge, and I would like to save the $$$.

Thanks!

OK the locksmith replaced the old lock (we did not have the key) with the new lock in about 10 -15 minutes, without damaging the old lock.

Erick, i am sending your old cylinder back to you so that you can use it on another trailer.

Bro-in-law says he knows nothing about a service bulletin, he just took it to a locksmith and had it changed and we are sending the cylinder back to its original owner (Erick) so that he can reuse it.
