This is just my two cents on this topic. I have a 2012 RTS-SE5. I never had a dealer do a 600 mile service. I changed the oil and filters myself. I did have some warranty work done later on and weather the dealer preformed this 600 mile service or not wasn't an issue, wasn't even mentioned. I do keep an up to date service record along with receipts for oil and filters.If you are having some codes come up yeah maybe you should have it checked out, but that should be covered under the warranty. As far as updates, I put 600 miles on the first week I owned it. I certainly wouldn't be worried about getting new updates every 600 miles. All the other little check this and check that stuff they say they will do can certainly be done by the owner.
