• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2023 RT Cruise control needs to turn past set point to accelerate - is this right?

Co-worker has a '23 RT with less than 2K miles on it.
He said when he goes to pass a vehicle with the cruise set he has to turn the throttle past the point where the cruise was set in order to accelerate.
His Gold Wing accelerated right from the instant he touched the throttle from a resting position.
I don't know because I seldom do that w/o shutting off the cruise.

All I have to do is rock the gas forward and it unlocks, so it's a one way fast and rock on and go! Maybe it's different from the 2025.

Some bikes the throttle grip goes (moves) with the speed set while I have noticed the Spyder throttle grip does not follow the speed set, so yes you have to roll past where it is set to effect acceleration. That is because there is no throttle cable to move with the grip it is fly by wire.

It's annoying. At first I thought there was something wrong till I read this thread. I would just tap on the brake to disengage the cruise and then reset at the appropriate time.

That's how I do mine but find if you don't give it a bit of throttle, it'll slow down too abruptly. I also find that it feels like it decelerates slightly as I'm rotating the throttle to get it up to the current speed to disengage cruise.
