2021 RTL Brake Failure light - no start

Hello everyone -

Before I get my 2021 RTL towed to the shop I thought I would check for anything I've missed or haven't tried. The Brake Failure light is on and the Spyder will not start. I can't get past the start screen to check fault codes (mode key does not clear the "read safety card screen"). I had just ridden the RTL two days before and now stuck without being able to start.

Here is the list of items tried and result:
1. Battery checked and charged - no change
2. Tried the brake pedal reset (hold down brake HARD, turn off key, hold brake for 30 seconds) multiple times - no change
3. Opened brake fluid reservoir, checked levels, seemed good and added some brake fluid anyway - no change
4, While the brake fluid reservoir was open checked both floats - both move freely and are at top of range - no change
5. Used ohm meter to test both brake fluid level sensors while still in the reservoir - both at 4.5K ohms - no change
6. Checked all fuses - none blown

Is there any other way to reset the Brake Failure?

Thanks in advance!

You have checked all the boxes that I would have checked, let us know what you found out!

Update - Dealer diagnostic shows failed left hand multi-function switch. Hopefully part is in stock and can be replaced fairly quickly.

Next update - new left hand switch installed at dealer and no change. Acts like the mode switch is still not working. They are checking with BRP to see what they should do next.

Heavy sigh - the Spyder apparently wants to stay at the dealer ...

Finally got my Spyder back today! Turns out the left hand switch was the problem. From what I was told the reason the replacement didn't work at first was because something needed to be reset before the Spyder recognized the new switch. Two months in the shop ... But at least the AZ weather is great now for riding!
